  • Executive Director - Dr Mike Packer

    Prior to leading Reforestation, Mike worked in senior strategy and business development roles in the UK wildlife conservation sector, as Director at Global Canopy, as Head of Natural Resources at H20 Venture Partners, and as Responsible Business Director of a major European timber trader. As Managing Director of ArborCarb, Mike successfully completed one of the world’s largest tropical, native species reforestation projects. He holds an MA in Zoology from Oxford University and an ecology PhD from Dundee University.

  • Chair of Trustees - Leopold Hall

    Leopold is a Partner at Chalkwood Capital, a long only value driven investor. Prior to this, he was an Equity Partner at Mansford, a UK private equity real estate specialist. And prior to this, he worked at Phoenix Equity Partners where he focused on the origination and evaluation of private equity investments in UK smaller companies. Leopold holds a BA in English Literature & Philosophy from the University of East Anglia, a diploma in corporate finance from London Business School, and an MBA from INSEAD.

  • Trustee - Esteban Abad Jara

    Esteban is a Partner at Three Hills Capital Partners where he is focused on providing growth capital to European companies. He is also the CEO and founder of Syer Advisers, a boutique advisory firm focused on ESG investing. Esteban holds a BSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and a MA in Economics from the Catholic University of Louvain.

  • Trustee - Roberta Benedetti del Rio

    Roberta is an independent impact investing and sustainability consultant. She is a Senior Advisor to Just Climate, a climate-led investment business part of Generation Investment Management, where she designed the impact strategy and leads its implementation. Roberta is also Co-Chair of the Deep Transition Project’s Global Investors Panel, and holds a BBA and an MSc in Finance from Bocconi University.

  • Trustee - Nick Scott

    Nick is CEO of Pollinium, a group he founded in 2018. Pollinium cultivates and processes non-timber forest products for global markets and is currently working on the revival and regeneration of a number of Indonesian forests. Nick holds a BA in History of Art from Leeds University and an Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
