We see a future of vibrant forest landscapes, restored across the UK, where local ecology, community and economy thrive

We work to restore forest ecosystems, planting trees, assisting natural regeneration processes, and implementing regenerative agro-forestry systems

Trees and forest ecosystems contribute significantly to ecologically regenerative approaches to solving the inter-connected global biodiversity loss and climate change crisis. They also provide many ecosystem services and products that generate direct benefits to society and the economy.

We make sure the right tree is established in the right place, in the right way

This means implementing designs that fit with the local context, and that ensure tree and ecosystem health in the long term. Our systems include, alone or in combination, supporting woodland to regenerate naturally, planting new, native species woodland where it has been depleted, and integrating trees, hedgerows and woodland into farms and estates, including through building innovative, regenerative agroforestry systems that support biodiversity, social wellbeing, and economic viability.

We plan our activities to work at the landscape level

Our vision reaches beyond trees to thriving forest landscapes, involving woodland creation and restoration, connecting networks of woodlands, improving woodland condition, supporting better ecological health and function, including within farming and forestry systems, and thereby providing a wide range of benefits, ecosystem services and products.

We are a small organisation with big ambitions

We aim to restore 10,000 acres of forest landscapes by 2030
